Our History

Ticketech is one of the pioneers in systems development for Valet and Attended parking garages. Back in the 1970’s, when parking management simply consisted of a time clock and a cash box, Ticketech founder Isaac Seychett was running a computer-based accounting service and data center with a diverse client base including law firms, hospitals, medical instrument manufacturers – and parking facility owners. A client requested a custom system, including hardware, to control revenue and manage the parking process for their NYC parking garages – thus, the first iteration of Ticketech was born. Realizing the potential of the system to shape parking operations using technology, Isaac and co-founder Bernard Shapiro made the strategic decision to focus on this innovation, bringing a new level of efficiency and control to an underserved industry.

Though the parking business has changed over the years, Ticketech’s focus on technology as a means to connect all the pieces of the parking “pie” is the reason we have thrived. While our customer base continues to expand, we remain a hands-on, closely held company where every employee has a vested interest in our ongoing success.
